NXA Pro
Based on 30 Years of Innovation
Horizontal Alignment
Measures and helps correct misalignment while dual sensors maintain the true position of the shafts, even as unintended movements are experienced during the alignment process.
Vertical Alignment
Same power and ease of use as the Horizontal Alignment program. The vertical alignment program is used when aligning flanged-mounted machines.
Verti-Zontal
Allows for the vertical and horizontal adjustments to be made together in one pass, saving valuable time and ensuring accuracy the first time around.
Machine Train
Machine Train routine simplifies the complexity of aligning multiple units with connecting shafts.
Spacer Shaft
The Spacer Shaft program simplifies spacer shaft alignment by showing both ends of the spacer shaft coupling with an angle/angle display.
OmniView
Changes the on-screen orientation to match what the user is actually seeing, tracking the user’s position relative to the machine being aligned.
30 years of innovation continue with the introduction of the NXA Pro.

Horizontal Machines
The Fixturlaser NXA Pro is perfect for measuring horizontal alignment conditions but its real power is in helping correct misalignment. The dual sensors allow the NXA Pro to maintain the true position of the shafts, even as unintended movements are experienced during the alignment process.
Vertical Machines
The same power and ease of use found in the horizontal alignment program can be found in the vertical alignment program. The vertical alignment program is used when aligning flanged-mounted machines. The gyroscopes in the NXA Pro’s sensors allow the system to accurately measure the angles using the Tripoint Method of measurement, an industry first!
Machine Train
The NXA Pro’s machine train routine simplifies the complexity of aligning multiple units with connecting shafts. The software includes a “minimal moves” function which identifies the best reference machine to minimize the number of moves required to complete the alignment.
Hotcheck
This program calculates the appropriate target values for an alignment based on the machine’s hot condition and ambient condition. The ultility retrieves two saved shaft alignment measurements — one in the machine’s cold, or ambient condition and one in the hot conidition — and then calculates the appropriate target values. Those values can be used the next time to ensure proper alignment at running conditions.
OL2R software
The OL2R (offline to running) application, when combined with the OL2R brackets (sold separately), will deliver the most accurate reading of thermal growth available. The readings are used to set target values for the shaft alignment that will ensure that the shafts come into alignment once the machine has reached its running temperature.
Cardan Shaft software
The Offset/Cardan Shaft application, when combined with the Offset/Cardan fixtures (sold separately), allows the aligner to eliminate angular misalignment of offset mounted machines.
Utilities
Expand All
Soft Check
Softcheck™ checks if there is a soft foot condition, i.e. when the motor is not resting firmly on all its feet.
Feetlock
This program allows the user to test alternate solutions in situations where the movable machine is base bound or bolt bound.
Target Values
Allows the system to compensate for pre-determined alignment targets. The user can establish targets using this function and then go directly to shaft alignment.
Memory Manager
The NXA Pro’s data management function. Measurements can be organized in folders and subfolders. Single measurements and/or complete data structures can be copied to USB stick.
Machine Defined Data
A set of machine configuration templates for storing data for individual machines.
OmniView Activation
Opens a window for activating or deactivating OmniView, the feature that changes the on-screen orientation to match what the user is actually seeing, tracking the user’s position relative to the machine being aligned.
Adjustable Screen Filter
Allows the user to modify the sampling time of the sensor readings. Also offers the ability to run a repeatability test to determine if the vibration from nearby machines is affecting the data quality of the alignment.
Resolution Shown
Allows the user to adjust the resolution, dependent upon how precise the alignment needs to be.
Extended Alignment
We train customers to use the Verti-Zontal alignment process, taking the final measurement with the sensors at 3:00 or 9:00 taking live reading. But if the situation doesn’t allow easily positioning the sensors at 3:00 or 9:00 the Extended Alignment utility can address the problem. Extended Alignment allows for live readings as long as the sensors are within +/- 45 degrees of the 3:00 or 9:00 position. Extended Alignment can also be used when making live vertical adjustments of machines mounted on adjustable chocks.
Target Values Clock
Target Values Clock converts thermal expansion targets given as dial, or clock, values (target rim/face, or target reverse dial), to alignment values consistent with Fixturlaser alignment tools – angle and offset.
PDF Report
Allows easy creation of reports which can include text and alignment results files. Reports are stored in the measurements folder and can be downloaded to a USB stick for delivery. The logo and field names are customizable.
Sensor Display ROP (Runout Probe)
This utility, when coupled with the Fixturlaser NXA Runout Probe (sold separately), displays the live readings from the probe.
Max-Min ROP (Runout Probe)
This utility, when coupled with the Fixturlaser Runout Probe (sold separately), displays the minimum and maximum values detected by the probe.
